The New Proposed MRT3 Station Inside UM Main Campus
The proposed MRT3 line with a station inside the UM Main Campus is targeted to reduce traffic movement on campus and reduce car parking demands around UM Health Zone. It provides easy access to public transportation options for students and staff to travel back and forth to UM Main Campus.
Enhance Connectivity from the LRT Station
To use the current public transportation nearest to UM Main Campus, work is needed to enhance connectivity between LRT Universiti Station and UM KL Gate.

Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif MRT Corp, Datuk Mohd Zarif Hashim (kedua dari kiri) dan Naib Canselor Universiti Malaya, Profesor Datuk Seri Dr. Noor Azuan Abu Osman (kedua dari kanan), bergambar bersama dokumen perjanjian yang telah dipertukarkan di Transport Expo Asia (TXA) 2026 di Kuala Lumpur, dengan disaksikan oleh Menteri Pengangkutan, Loke Siew Fook (tengah). Turut hadir ialah Pengarah Projek Laluan Lingkaran MRT3 (MRT3 Circle Line), Yusof Kasiron (kiri), dan Timbalan Naib Canselor (Pembangunan) Universiti Malaya, Profesor Dr. Ramesh Singh.
